Forecast Lookup
This tool is intended to assist permittees, consultants, and inspectors in evaluating forecasted precipitation conditions relevant to California stormwater compliance, including forecast-based inspection and preparation requirements under the Construction General Permit (CGP).
Forecast data are derived from National Weather Service gridded products and summarized into six-hour precipitation periods commonly used to evaluate forecasted storm events. The output is designed to support planning, documentation, and consistency in evaluating forecast thresholds.
Final compliance determinations remain the responsibility of the permittee and the applicable regulatory agency.
